Today we're going to talk about the GFSI and their work.
The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) brings together key actors of the food industry to collaboratively drive continuous improvement in food safety management systems around the world.
With a vision of Safe food for consumers everywhere, food industry leaders created the GFSI in 2000 to find collaborative solutions to collective concerns, notably to reduce food safety risks, audit duplication and costs while building trust throughout the supply chain.
This trust is earned by certifications the manufacturer gets for their food or products. These are manifested in different logos on the food's packagings you consume in order to make it easier for you to choose.
So here we'll be posting that variety of logos that are on our website and we'll explain each of them so you make sure the products you're buying are suitable for your needs. 🥜🌿🌾🍶 .
